Opeyemi Ayanwale also known as Imisi emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10 on Sunday, outlasting eight finalists in a 71-day showdown to pocket a N150 million prize package, capping a season that blended high drama with viewer-driven evictions in Nigeria's premier reality TV spectacle.
The "10/10" edition, which kicked off July 26 with 29 housemates—15 women and 14 men—drew to a close with nine contenders in the grand finale: Dede, Imisi, Isabella, Jason Jae, Kaybobo, Kola, Koyin, Mensan, and Sultana.
Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu oversaw the eliminations, starting with Kaybobo's early exit, followed by Isabella, Mensan, and Jason Jae, leaving Imisi to claim victory amid cheers from a nationwide audience.
The season, known for its alliances, betrayals, and strategic plays, kept viewers glued through weekly evictions and challenges that tested resilience and cunning.
Imisi's triumph, fueled by consistent performance and fan support, highlights the show's power to launch stars while sparking conversations on youth culture and ambition in a diverse cast.
Organizers celebrated the milestone, with the finale drawing massive viewership and underscoring BBNaija's role in entertaining Nigerians.
As Imisi steps into the spotlight, the win opens doors to endorsements and ventures in a franchise that's reshaped entertainment since 2006.
The prize haul includes cash, a luxury SUV, and sponsorships, positioning Imisi for a post-show career boost in an industry where alumni like Laycon and Whitemoney have thrived.
